This is Kristi‘s Yum Yum‘s at the railway outdoor market and today is red and Green Day and they called us brown chili. I got a breakfast burrito and as you can see by the picture they put the red hatch chili in the green hatch chili. Not only inside the burrito, but I asked specifically for my little tray so I could dip in and taste more of the chilies. So coming from Denver to Albuquerque I have learned that there is a huge border rivalry over these chilies. The people from Albuquerque say there’s are better because it’s a more dry climate. People from Denver say theirs are better with no reasoning. They’re just better. I have learned today that there are many different types of chilies and walking the market I have seen several varieties anyway back to the burrito burrito is stuffed with egg, bacon cheese, the green chilies and red chilies and then I got the special treatment with the green and red on top. I damn staying out of the argument over the border because it’s pretty fierce. The burrito with the brown chili sauce is equally as fierce. Highly recommended. If you come to the railway to look up Kristi’s Yum Yum’s.
